All Weddings Are Similar But Every Marriage Is Different

I once read “All weddings are similar but every marriage is different. Marriage is an interpersonal relationship with social and religious recognition, usually intimate and sexual and often created as a contract or through civil process.

Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage. The most common form of marriage unites a man and a woman as husband and wife. Other forms of marriage also exist like polygamy, in which a person takes more than one spouse. In some jurisdiction it has been expanded to include same sex marriage.

The reason many people marry vary, but usually for public declaration of love, economic stability, legality, formation of family, procreation and legitimizing sexual relations. The act of marriage usually creates obligations between the individuals involved and many societies, the extended families.

  1. So true.. some people may have the most extravagant yet after certain number of years of staying together, call it quits. And those who have humble ones stayed forever. Love should grow every day and the longer you stay together, the stronger it gets.
