I was reading some parenting magazine today and came across some of the baby bloopers which I think was so innocently said but are funny. Check them out.
"Crazy Mama"
To teach my 3 year old son, Daniel, that Mom isn't my only name, I asked what my real name is. He correctly said, "Theresa." I then asked what my nickname is, trying to elicit Terry. He looked puzzled, so to help him I asked what his dad calls me. His eyes lit up, and he said, "Nuts!"
"Baby Bites"
I was making my 3 year old son, Colby, his dinner when he spotted hamburger buns on the counter and asked if he could have one. Not wanting to spoil his appetite, I tore of a little piece and handed it to him. He inspected the morsel, then looked at me in exasperation and said, "Mommy, I'm not a duck!"
"Growth Spurt"
My 4-year old son, Ethan, and I ere outside when a neighbor we hadn't seen in a while came over to say hello. When she saw how tall Ethan was, she commented that he had grown another foot since she last saw him. Ethan looked down at this feet and replied, "No, I've always had two feet!"
