When your child goes from being in a dark room to a bright one, does she sneeze? If so, she's got
Achoo Syndrome. Yes, that's what it's called when exposure to bright light causes someone to sneeze. About 10 to 25 percent of people have the reaction, says Joshua Scharf, M.D., an otolaryngologist in Wynnewood, PA, but experts don't know why. The advantage? Your kid may be able to get the tickle out of her nose just by looking up in a sunny day.
