Just can't seem to shake the baby weight? Try sleeping it off. If you want to shed pounds, getting enough shut eye is just as important as diet and exercise according to a study done by Kaiser Permanente and Harvard Medical School. Mom's who slept five hours a day or less were three times more like to retain pounds by their baby's first birthday than those who slept seven hours a day. Where talking about an 11 pound difference! No wonder I still have the pounds that I gained during my pregnancy.Sleep deprivation is linked to hormonal changes that may stimulate appetite, which can lead to overeating. Of course, sneaking in two or more hours of sleep isn't easy. But you don't need to get those extra zzzzzz's in one shot-catnaps count too.
So if you want to lose atleast some of the weight, you better start sleeping early...

Dig this?

The problem is, I have to many things on my chore list that I'd rather have them done than sleeping. I wish for one of those days or nights of uninterrupted sleep....
