Vacation Time in Dubai

I have a classmate last semester and her daughter and soon to be husband move to Dubai. And I ask her why would they move there? She said that they wanted a different atmosphere and Dubai is the one that attracted them. So they will probably stay there for around 3-5 years and then they'll take it from there. Now that is something, I wish we could just move to another country and for I don't know, couple of years and then go back here.

I have a lot of friends also that work in Dubai and they have been asking me when would I visit. And I just keep telling them that I don't have a budget. But it's not such a bad idea to be able to travel there and spend maybe a week or two with my husband and daughter. I've seen some cheap flight to Dubai that we can afford. So hopefully by next year we will be able to travel.
