Hi there ladies and gents... want to check out cool blogs and meet cool fellow blogger like you? What about increasing your blog popularity, advertise your blog and your products?As a blogger we are constantly looking for ways to make our little niche popular to get more traffic and hopefully in the long run get more readers to follow us or customer if we are offering services, now is your chance.
I am calling this "The Ultimate Blogger Follower Party". Got the idea from one of my mom blogger club and I thought it was a pretty awesome. I have to tweak it a little bit in order to work with this party but the idea was perfect.
Join me on Saturday, October 18, 2008 starting from 6:00 P.M. Central Time for a Blogger Follower Night Out right from the comfort of your own home.
So here's the mechanic on how you can join in.
- RSVP on Mr. Linky by inserting the title of your blog in the Name box and type your blog url in the URL box.
- Then click the name of all the fellow party goers and add them on blogs that you "follow".
- If you haven't added this feature of blogger in your blog, please Add the follower feature of Blogger anywhere in your blog (would appreciate if you put it on a more visible area so we can find it easily) by going to your Dashboard, Layout, Add Gadgets then hit the Follower feature.
- Sit back and relax and see your follower grow from 0 to however many party goers that we can get.
- By joining the party, you can promote your blog and/or your products.
- You will meet other blogger and be able to hang out.
- You can instantly increase your number of followers, giving you a higher popularity.
*Party will official start on Saturday but if you want to add your blog, go ahead and leave it on Mr. Linky, then come back on Saturday to add the rest of the party goer.
So gentleman and ladies, see you all on Saturday.
Updates: Mr. Linky is now close. For those who joined the blogger follower party.. but did not add the "follower" feature in their blog your link will be deleted. This is in fairness to all who took their time and really joined. Below is the updated list of the blog that joined in. If you came late please don't forget to add the rest of the blogger so we can all benefit from it.
Also if you think that the blogger that you had followed did not add your blog, you are more than welcome to remove them from your list. No hurt feeling to those who joined but where remove, we are supposed to reciprocate. It's the whole purpose of the party.

Hi Vhiel, I'm done adding and there were at least 15 links who don't have the Follow Me feature, I've checked twice ;-). I guess not everybody read the instruction ;-) I will come back again later to update. Thanks!
@mommy mira.. yeah i saw some that don't have the follower feature... i left them some message about it.. if we already checked them 2 times atleast but we still didn't see it... that's alright... maybe next time they will read the rules first.. ;) by the way, I have something for your.. give me a buzz

@tc - yeah there are some that did not add the "follower" feature... don't worry about those... maybe they will add it later on.. they will just have to ask everybody to add them again.. ;)

Ok i have another idea Vhiel what about we will going to put in our side bars the one who join the party and the title is The Utimate blogger follower party. How about that. Some reason is its a bunch of them and oh my gosh heheh i have 7 blogs and oh one is not working for followers. I will all this people in my side bar today...

OK, I've made a complete pigs ear of this, I admit it and can only apologise profusely! Sorry about the smiley faces, they were on the automatic fill in and I didn't notice until it was too late. My other blog Family History for Beginners, I've managed to enter twice with an error in the URL - 2 s's at the end of beginners, at which point I have retreated in disgrace :-)
i guess im too late. huhuhuhu...
