Monster 64GB Flash Drive Released

Kanguru Solutions has recently released the largest capacity flash drive available in the market, the 64GB Flash Drive. Now you don't have to carry tones of flash drives to accommodate all your files, all you have to do is get one of this new 64GB flash drive. This is specially great for students like me or people who are storing a lot of files but ends up having to get a lot of flash drives because the space is not enough.

Not only that 64GB Kanguru Flash Blu has a huge capacity to store your files, it is roughly the size of a pack of gum, super portable, packed with features such as mobile e-mail, no trace browsing and file synchronization. And of course it is designed with a rugged aluminum housing for protection.

No wonder, this little flash drive is creating a lot of buzz.

..Technorati Ranking... much like the Google PR

Have you noticed your Technorati ranking lately? If you have your little Technorati widget in your blog that shows your ranking better check it. I have lost about 200 reactions so basically the ranking went down from about 800 to 607 now.

I've checked their website support and a lot of blogger are complaining about it. I wouldn't blame them. It took a lot of time to get those links from other site and in just one blink there goes the ranking. Although my blog is still in the top 5K the reactions are not that much.

As I quote according to the "admin" over at the discussion area:
"... We did a bit of spam cleaning over the weekend where there was a dispersed link farm from dozens of Wordpress MU installations that had gradually ranked each other up since the summer. All told there were approximately 10,000 of these "blogs" in this network that were actually spam. There were also links out to the "real" blogosphere - so everyone who unwittingly benefited from these pings took a hit when we cleaned house.

Also, some of these splogs received links *in* from legit blogs that led to an error that flagged a number of legit blogs spam. The errant flags have been reversed but it may take some time for all of the authority numbers to stablize. We appreciate your patience while this squares up."
But I just read recently that some of the data that were scrubbed could not be reverted anymore. So there goes our ranking again. First the Pr and now Technorati... How can we ever get a break from all of these. It looks more to me like all they do is make our ranking go down, where in fact a lot of the blogger are the one giving these people business.

Don't you all think?

...blogging without typing

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 StandardOne of the great thing about blogging is you get to exercise your brain, hands and fingers. But just like everything, when we get tired it's harder to think for an article for your blog. There are times that you get a lot of ideas for your article but your typing slow and you tend to forget the ideas.

Well, now you don't have to worry about typing and forgetting your ideas. Now you can blog without typing. Yes, you are reading it correctly, type 150 words per minute for $99!. I have included a video below for you to find more information about this new software called Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred. This video was created by a fellow blogger name SuperZ. After the video you can read an article that was written using the sofware.

"The video above was created by a blogger that goes by the name, SuperZ.

I couldn't write that name before using Dragon NaturallySpeaking until I trained Dragon NaturallySpeaking to recognize the name SuperZ. I mention that because I'm using Dragon NaturallySpeaking right now to write this article (notice Dragon new when I said the words right now that I meant the word right and not the word to write).

I've been writing articles and reviews about Dragon NaturallySpeaking for close to two years. I've had a lot of experience with the software, and I wanted to reach out to other bloggers and see what they thought of the software.

SuperZ tried out the software and as you can see from his own video, the results that he's getting after having used the software for just a week are pretty amazing. His computer is keeping up with just about every word that he says, and typing those words out for him in text.

Well frankly that's exactly what Dragon NaturallySpeaking is supposed to do these days and it lives up to its claim of achieving 99% accuracy and I've clocked it typing faster than its claims of 150 words per minute.

That's right you can type 150 words a minute with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. You do have to spend a little time editing from time to time, but you type so fast that editing doesn't take that long. You get the typing done faster and the editing is a breeze because you only have to look at the way that you phrased words. Dragon NaturallySpeaking almost never makes a spelling mistake. It types out the entire word based on the vocabulary that has stored in the machine. So it really can't misspell a word it's pulling the word straight out of a dictionary.

The only exception might be the case when you run into a name like SuperZ, which is not in your dictionary yet. When you run across a name like that, all you have to do is add it into your dictionary and train the software to recognize that new word or name. It just takes a second and after that you'll be able to say SuperZ all you like and Dragon NaturallySpeaking will know exactly what you are talking about.

Sincerely,
Brett Bumeter
Softduit Media
www.softduit.com
PS this article includes about 381 words that I wrote with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10. It took me about 4 minutes to write and 4 minutes to edit this article. The writing time included the short amount of time it took to train dragon to recognize the name SuperZ. Editing took 4 minutes because I’ve been working all night and I’m not reading too fast!
"
So what do you think of it? Is this the solution that you been looking for?

:-) happy halloween... my not so wordless thursday

I haven't joined any meme in a long time. I just now realized that. It's been totally chaos here with all of the things that is happening.. in school for me and work for my husband. But even though there's a lot of chaos in this house, I still have to remember that we have a child that we have to take care of. So last weekend, we manage to buy a pumpkin for our little one and found some ideas on how to decorate it.

And since my daughter gets scared with spooky stuff... yeah.. she does...even the little smiley scarecrow I bought she gets all shaky when she sees it. So we made our version of Minnie the Mouse using 3 pumpkin. The big one serve as the head and the 2 little one's as the ears. I used some sticks to hold the little pumpkins and then painted the face. It's supposed to be black and white but I don't have those color with acrylic paint so I ended up using the left over paint from my painting project before.

...do you think she likes it?

...loosing it

Yeah, I feel like I have lost about 20 pounds right now. I have a terrible headache and I really want to cry. On my previous post I have this issues about my Anatomy class... of me not doing good with it. And with all of the stress, I cannot focus anymore.

I wanted to do a couple of review for my blog tonight like the alli reviews but I can't think of anything to write about it. I cannot think of anything... although it's kinda good because I am loosing some weight because of all the stress but if I get too much of it, I might just loose it.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have a decision on what to do with this situation. But at this moment, dropping the class is more than likely my decision and will try again next semester. I will just have to apply for deferment for my student loan because in order to have the loan, I need to be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. That means at least 2 classes per semester... right now I have 7, if I drop my Anatomy class that will leave me 3 for it is 4 credit hours. Yeah, it counts a lot.

...I feel so dumb and doomed...

To tell you the truth I am really struggling with my Anatomy class. I cannot imagine myself failing this class or getting grade as low as a D, that's almost like a 75 grade in the Philippines... almost. For some reason I just cannot concentrate on this class. It's really hard for it involves a lot of memorization and familiarization and I am not good when it comes to memorizing stuff. When I was younger I can memorize a lot but now that I am older, it's harder for me.

We had our practical test on the lab last Thursday and apparently I didn't do well on it. And tonight we had our second exam on lecture and that turn out bad as well. Right now, I really don't know what to do with this class. I may end up dropping it and trying it again next semester and just focus on my math class right now. I don't want to get bad grades on both classes and end up in a situation where I have to take both subjects again.

Right now I have a terrible headache because I just saw my score on my second test. And I feel so dumb seeing the score. Should I just drop the class and take it again later on (but if I do that, it means that I will have to pay for it again, but at least I won't have a failed or D grade) or should I just finish it.. but if get a D on this class I will have to retake it again anyway.

I feel like I made a really bad decision in taking some classes and now I am doomed.. I have no way out. I've already taken some student loans and if I stop now I have to find a job fast because I have to start paying for my loan within six months of stopping.

Just thinking of it and leaving my daughter with somebody because I have to work makes me want to cry. I feel so lost....

Time To Clean Out .. Take Out Outfit for the Cold Season

Have you clean out and dig out on your closet to get those long sleeves and jackets? Here in Texas they say that you'll never know what will be the temperature when you wake up. And this morning we head outside to check out the place of our soon to be caregiver. Yes we are actually thinking of leaving our child with someone just for emergencies. We needed someone to watch other than my sister, specially for days when I have school and my husband can't make it in time for me to leave. We have this arrangement wherein he can't make it home in time for me to leave so I will take my daughter to school and he will pick her up from there. The only thing is if he still cannot make it in time for me to go head out to my class. So the visit was great and my daughter will actually stay closer to where my sister live, so that should turn out okay. I hope...

Anyway, she will just be there for only an hour or until her dad pick her up.

But, man it was cold outside and windy too. Yesterday the temperature wasn't really cold. But today, I almost wanted to head out and buy some new outfit because my old ones are getting smaller for me. I found some discount clothing online that might work for me. And since I also need some new jeans, I found some more cheap jeans that are great. I love the feel of corduroy and there are some great sales on GetHeavenly.com so I might order those.

If you have kids, I am sure you are probably preparing to do some shopping for new outfit as well. You know when you have kids who are constantly growing, the clothing budget is an important one. I just realized now that I have a kid. Teen clothes are also on sale on their site, so drop by and browse around and you might find something that you teen will like.

But the old ones might still work, all it need is some good washing specially if they have been kept in the closet for a while... just throw them in the wash or you can check the site I have mentioned above.

Halloween Blog Party... Join Now!

It's time for another party...

You probably can tell now that I love to party... not that I love to go out on bars or party all night. Not that kind of party. I am talking about Halloween Blog Party. There's only 5 days to go and it's Halloween, that means it's time for trick or treat.

Let me start with our trick out Halloween design. I saw one blog who did a Pumpkin Party and I love how she made the face of Minnie out of Pumpkin, so we went out to get some pumpkin and me and my daughter start painting it (well more of me painting it anyway). And here's the finish product. We didn't have a black and white acrylic paint so I used the paint that was left from my previous painting project. I still have to do a little bit of touch up to it because it is showing the pen I've used to draw the face but for now this is our "Trick Out Halloween Design... Minnie!!"

Do you think she likes it?

So how can you join the party?

Simple...

Just grab your camera and follow the rules below:
  • Start taking pictures of a "Trick Out Halloween Design." It can be something that you've created, something your child made, your Halloween display at home, the costume of your child or something that you find "trick out".
  • Anything about Halloween, as long as it was made or designed by you or your child.. if none of these work, take a picture of your neighbor's Halloween display, if they have one. Don't forget to ask.
  • Post your photo in your blog within the week of October 27 - October 31, 2008.
  • Leave your link on Mr. Linky by typing the "title of your post" under name and the exact link under URL. I will start so everybody knows what to do.
  • At the end of the party, I will pick one "Trick Out Photo" and whoever owns the photo will received $10.00 sent through Paypal.
You can also grab the badge/logo below to promote the party. This is also a great way to get more traffic on your blog.
Halloween Blog Party Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

Enjoy the Halloween and remember, it doesn't have to do about your kids, as long as the theme of the photo is about Halloween, you're in.

Not So Techie?

If you own a blog or a website you need to at least know some basic HTML coding in order to maintain and operate it. However, not everybody are technical enough to handle everything, we still need the help of a gadget advisor. Even myself, whenever there are some new things that I haven't encounter I turn to the pro.

Back when I was making our business website, I have to learn how to use and the coding for OsCommerce. It was the platform that we were using for the online store that we had. And that time I was just learning the ins and outs specially for things like link exchange, building traffic, marketing and how to make sure that our site was index by Google. I don't want to waste my time creating the website and when they type it on Google search, they can't find it. That's just a waist of time.

Over the years, of course I have learned a few tricks of the trade specially being able to see immediately tell if the page is cached by Google. And I found this cool gadget called Google Cache Checker Firefox extension which will tell you immediately if the current page that you are in is cached by Google. Very handy specially for link exchange and marketing.

I have also learned that having Internet Explorer mainly as my browser is not really a good practice. It's always good to try out new browser and new features in order to keep yourself up to date. And now that I am using Firefox as my main browser, (I still have Internet Explorer.. using it as a supplementary browser specially for my designs)it's good to know that they are supporting a lot of extensions. These are add ons that build on the functionality of browser. For more information on best extensions for Firefox you can click on the link.

With all of the technical stuff that we have to deal with, there are times that we just want somebody to do all these for us. Believe me I have those moments too. Even though I can usually work my way out on some of these technical jargon, there are still times that all I can do is scratched my head because I am lost of answers. Good thing my husband is good with computer hardware... hardware is my weak part. I am pretty good with software, I can work my way with it but not with hardware. That's why when I've heard about the software called Blaze Media Pro, an audio and video converter I just have to look for a Blaze Media Pro review to find out more information about it. And when I wasn't able to figure things out, husband is always to the rescue.

So if you are not so techie or even those who knows a little but have some questions, turn to Gadget Advisor. They can be found at www.gadgetadvisor.com.

Must Be Nice To Have ...

Owning a house is definitely a plus compare to renting, we are accumulating equity on it. However, there's a lot of things that you have to do when you own a house. First is maintenance, which you don't really do when you are renting, then of course the upgrades for your house. If I start mentioning all the things that needs to be done in a house I might not finish.

When we didn't bought a new house. What we bought was built in 1982 and when we got it, the house was in bad condition. It has been in the market for a while and the previous family that had it didn't really took care of it. There has been a lot of work done with the house already, one of which was a renovated kitchen. My husband gutted out the entire kitchen, so now we totally have a new kitchen. During that time, I was still pregnant. Can you imagine renovating a house with a pregnant woman.

There's still a lot of things that we have to take care of, but we are doing it one a time. I really want to have an extra carports because our garage is detached and it is only a single car garage. And with all of the junks that we have in there, my trailblazer won't even fit. So having that extra carport will be really nice.

I found a site called CarPortEmpire.com and they have a great selection of nice carport. I was browsing on it this evening and they also offer an enclosed steel garages. I also like one of the carport display that they have online. I think it will look perfect on our driveway just infront of our garage.

Turn Between Decisions

As the semester is almost done, I am getting frustrated and frustrated because it is looking like I am going to have a hard time getting into the ADN program. When I decided to go back to school (...after weighing all my options and where I want to be in the next coming years) I choose to enroll in the nursing program over at a community college here in the DFW, sad to say that getting into the program is very competitive and for someone like me who doesn't have a lot of time to study it is frustrating. When I decided to do this, I know there are going to be a lot of studying but I wasn't involved with any designing business, let alone blogging. And now that I have a lot of things on my plate its harder for me to focus on studying specially the science part. There's a lot of memorizing involved and let's just say that area is not my specialty. Although I know it takes a lot of time in order to familiarize myself with the lesson, I can't force myself to do atleast 2-4 hours of studying.

So now, I am considering and thinking of getting into LVN. I've read a couple of forum and they said that it's easier to get into the program because there's not a whole lot of competition. Then I will just continue the RN once I am done with the LVN. But my sister said that since I already started with the RN program might as well continue with it. However, I really need to finish up now and start working so I can help my husband. It gets a little frustrating to know that I can't stop now.

I want one too!

I am getting tired of being in our office/media room most of the time. The reason, our computer is in that room and my daughter watches her show on the big TV. I wanted to be able to go to any place in the house and still do my thing online. But I can't do that right now, the reason I don't have a laptop.

I have been planning of getting one but everything I have the money, something else comes up and we end up using it for something else.

But now I am so ready to get me a laptop and I found some sale online that might work for my budget. I don't really need something expensive or luxurious, I just need something that has enough memory so it will be faster. I will still do most of my designs on my desktop because that's where my files and I added a separate hard drive just for my files and graphics. I don't want to move that to my laptop.

There are also some other deals that I found that I can use for school. So I think this is my internet find for today. Check it out if you want to get some great deal as well.

Losing it, Gaining it back

Have you heard of the phrase "losing it, gaining it again!" It's what happening to my weight. I will lose a couple of founds and then when I check back my weight is back again. Maybe it's our scale. We probably need to get us a digital scale in order to get an accurate weight. Sometimes it's very frustrating because, I cannot fit on my jeans anymore. I have to get me some new jeans so I have something that I can wear. And then of course, whenever I look at the mirror I can see my face looks swollen because of the weight that I have gained.

Sometimes I get so tempted to use diet pills so I can take off the weight faster, but then I am scared of side effects. I've known a couple of people who were using one and there were some side effects. And I don't think I can handle the side effects.

I guess, I just have to go back to the walking routine again. But with a lot of things that I needed to do, I am swamp. I cannot find the time to do the walking and exercise.

Personal Freebie: Pumpkin Patch

I love the rich color of fall... golden brown, orange, reds just all rich colors. The leaves are falling down and you can stack them and play with them. Well except the part of raking the leaves in my yard. We have 7 trees in our yard that it's hard to keep up when it comes to the raking of leaves.

This rich color of the fall has inspired me to create a few elements for digital scrapbooking. So here it is, I call it "Pumpkin Patch". Speaking of pumpkin patch, we haven't been to any. Not yet. I haven't had a chance to look for places where my little one can enjoy the festivities.

So, if you think you'll be able to use this freebie, you can download it here. Don't forget to leave me a comment if you download it. And let me know if you were able to create a LO using this element so I can post it here.

While you are here, you might want to check out the past freebies that I have made here. Happy Scrapping.

Find out if you act your age..

My day is long today. I woke up at about 7:45AM to get ready for school. I got home at about 12:40PM and while I was driving home I was so sleepy and there are times that I almost feel asleep on the wheel. I know.. I keep pinching my arm to wake myself up.

When you become a parent, a student and a business on the side, responsibilities tends to file up and there are times that you don't get as much sleep as you need to or want to. And all of these factors are affecting how you look and feel about yourself. You know those people that say, "you know you don't look like your age", or what about those people that say "you are not acting your age", don't you wonder why they say that in the first place. The reason is that we either don't look our age because of too much stress and we look a little bit older that what we should look like or that we neglected ourselves and is not taking good care of our health and the good one is we look younger than our real age.

So in order to find out what your real age is take the RealAge Test to see what's your real age. Basically this test will measure your age according to the food that you are eating, your health habit, your social status, etc.

I have been wanting to check this before but never find the time to do it. So now its my chance to see what's my real age. Basically the RealAge is the biological age of the body, based on how well is the maintenance.

So go ahead and take the RealAge Test! It's free!

What's the Probability of...?

I took a test tonight for 2 hours.. well almost. I started about 6 in the evening and finished at about 8. There were 25 multiple choice questions but in order to come up with the answer you have to figure out and solve for the answer. It's one of those many statistic test where you are being ask what is the probability of winning in lotto. Now I am so discouraged to buy a ticket because the odd of winning is so low that it's not even worth it.

And since I started taking statistic I started to doubt all the findings about surveys. Am I rambling? You probably don't know what I am talking about don't you? Well, I am currently taking statistic class and man, it is hard... honestly I don't have time to study. I have to much stuff to do and read.

Speaking of reading, I read one of my fellow blogger post today and she was talking about the trip/birthday celebration and they went to las vegas nevada to celebrate her hubby's 40th birthday. Must be nice! I just loved how she can crack me up with her post.

But back to reality, I been trying to find ways on how I can manage my time well. So I can balanced everything in that way, all of the things that I am doing will not suffer. But I still can't figure out or at least kick myself and study more.

I just can't... I have this thinking that I am already done with school and the classes that I am taking now draining me out... Oh well! Life is life...

True Results

Have you ever tried having a relationship with someone whom you've met online? What about having a relationship even without meeting the person personally, you just know him/her online? Is that even possible? The first one is very much possible and I know a lot of people who meet their other half through online dating site. And I can attest to that for I met my husband through an online dating site. Not that I was really looking for a serious relationship when I created my profile, it was more of like wanting to be connected with the opposite sex. When I sign up for it, I was always online and since I was online I though might as well meet people online. I meet a couple of great people online and doing the online dating is really not much of a difference compare to dating people whom you didn't met online.

I actually sent a couple of people messages wanting to get connected and chat with. I used to work for America Online as a technical support so pretty much my 8 hours are spent online, internet, computer and all technical stuff so it gets a little boring sometimes and its probably the reason why I met my husband online.

There are a lot of online dating site and one of the site that is on top of my head is True.com. You can see a lot of commercial on TV about them and if you believe in online dating and you think you will find the love of your life online, you can sign up and search for free. However, if you are doing the online dating, you just have to be careful because not everybody has the same intentions or motives.

Now to the other one issue. Having a relationship even you haven't met the person personally. I know a couple of people who actually did this. And although there's probably some real feelings, it's a little bit harder to endure and believe. For once, you don't really know the person. How can you say you love the person when you haven't even seen him/her. But I guess everybody is different.

My Gloves in a Bottle: Latest Find

As a mom as wash my hands 10-20 times daily, maybe even more and in doing so my hands ends up dry for the most part. I found a couple of lotion that works good for a while but its to sticky. I needed something to protect my hand quick but will not leave a residue on my cuticles and my nails.

Conventional lotions only attempts to replace natural moisture with artificial moisture. The problem is they come off when you wash or touch something. And I've learned through my Anatomy and Physiology class that in order for any moisture to actually improve a dry skin condition if needs to get below your second major layer skin which is the dermis. In reality, the only moisture that will reach this level is your skins own natural moisture. Yes our skin has its own natural moisture and as we age, the production of gets less. That is why when you touch the skin of your kids, they are soft compare to the skin or older people because they are younger and the skin is producing a lot of the moisture.

When you apply artificial moisture to the skin's surface you may be sending the wrong message to your nerves -telling it that your skin is producing enough moisture making the production less.

So one of my latest find is called "Gloves in a Bottle". Seriously, that's the name of the moisturizer. Gloves in a bottle is a moisturizer that bonds with the outer layer of skin to turn it into what works like an invisible pair of gloves which keep moisture robbing irritants out while helping to retain your skins own natural moisture.

Here are some of the features and benefits of this moisturizer.
  • Non-greasy, non-sticky lotion; rapidly absorbs into outer layer of skin.
  • Works like an invisible pair of gloves.
  • Prevents dirt and grime from penetrating the skin.
  • Allows skin to breathe and retain its natural moisture and oils.
  • Does not wash off, lasts 4 hours or more, and comes off naturally with exfoliated skin cells.
  • Grease less, non-sticky, fragrance free, hypoallergenic, completely safe, non-toxic and used daily by a wide range of health care professionals.
  • Prevents dry, cracked skin.
  • Absorbs quickly, undetectable once absorbed.
With all of these features in a moisturizer I'd probably call it Miracle in a Bottle.

Homesick: The Worst Enemy

Homesick, we probably experience this in some point of our lives. You may have been separated from your home for a while or if you move to another country or place like I did. But what really happens to people when they get homesick?

According to the meaning of it, homesick is the distress or impairment caused by an actual or anticipated separation from the specific home environment or attachment objects. Feelings of longing are often accompanied by anxiety and depression. These symptoms may range from mild to severe. Homesickness frequently occurs when one travels and may be exacerbated by unfamiliar environments or foreign cultural contexts. Homesickness is especially common in youth. Young people may experience a sense of dread, helplessness, or separation anxiety on their first day of school, summer camp, or on a protracted summer vacation away from parents.

Although homesickness is common to younger people older people (like me) also experience it. I remember when I came here in the US, I didn't really think about being homesick because I was young and I can always find thing that I can do. I was alright for the first few months but after about 3 months, homesickness has struck me. I even look for travel deals for my tickets.. I was ready to go home. My only solace that time was to go online and chat with my friends back home. Most of them works are night on a call center so I can talk to them in the morning and for those who are not working at night they are pretty much online all the time so I have like a 24 hours comfort. However, since they are working I can't chat with them all the time so I end up with no one to talk to. I was staying with my sister that time and I don't know how to drive. I literally have to learn how to take the bus and train so I can get out of the house and go to different places so I won't get bored. Although my sister always takes me anywhere she goes it still feels different when I can just go anytime. And it came to a point that I was ready to go home, just after a few months of staying here. It's just darn lonely..

So I told myself I am ready to go home, but I guess God has a different plan... because I found a job that I can get busy with. And of course the rest is history...

Tonight I was reading through my messages and my friend (the one that just got married) that her parents said that they are homesick. Currently, they are in San Diego with her older sister and I told her that's what happen to my mom when she was here. She got homesick and went home, but at least she was able to stay for a year.

But my point is, when homesickness hits you or somebody it's very difficult. Hopefully, my friends parents will be able to overcome it and get used to their new home.

An Invitation

For those who are frequent here, you'all know that I am in school "trying" to earn another degree. Yeah, I know what was I thinking?

That's the reason why I don't blog a lot anymore. I have to make room for school and let's just say that combining Anatomy & Physiology class and Statistic is not fun at all. It will literally drain your brain. A lot of terminologies and definitions to remember and then of course I have to know how they look like too. I have to ask myself a couple of times why on earth I am taking these classes. Not to mention that we also have to dissect a couple of "brains" and "eyes".

So far I have done 7 classes already and I am kind'a proud of myself because my GPA is not to bad. But I have one class that I really struggle and got a not so good grade, however, it is not counted towards the degree that I am trying to get, just something that I have to take in order to move on to the next level. It's just so darn difficult to manage all the things that I have.

So with all that said, last month I received a letter of invitation from Phi Theta Kappa inviting me to become one of their member. This organization is an International Honor Society for the Two Year College. I was quite flattered to received the letter and believe me if I can afford the membership fee I will join. I have been involved with organizations when I was in the Philippines and being a member of one here will be an honor. Maybe next year, if my grades are still okay and I have enough money then I can join in.

Oh, by the way one of their criteria for membership is having an outstanding GPA... Although I am not sure how this type of organization work.. I am having second thought as well because of the movies that I am seeing about sororities...

... but so much for that. Maybe I'll join in next year if my grades are still looking good.
