Potty Training Issues

Okay I admit! It's difficult....

When I was reading some information about potty training I didn't really expect that it's going to be harder. And messy.. yes that's the word I have been looking for... messy.

Last week we bought a potty for my little girl (all pink) and she was all over it after we put it together. She would sit and played with it by closing the lid. Oh by the way, the potty can be converted to a step stool, so I thought that was neat. And since she seems to be interested with it, we were thinking maybe it's not going to be a huge issue for her.

Well, I was wrong. First of all, we art just starting so I guess I should be expecting a lot of accidents. I told my husband we are just going to let her run around butt naked so whenever she feels a nature call she can tell us but my husband said no. Which probably was good because we have a carpet and if accidents happen we won't have to worry about the cleaning up.

So this weekend we had our first accidents of pee in the floor. Good thing she was in the kitchen area(not carpet but tile) so it was easy to clean. She just sat on the potty because she said she was going to pee, but she's been sitting on it for a while but nothing is happening. So I guess she got tired and bored so she said she wanted to stand up. So I told her she can and I I was hoping she will have the urge to do it again in a little while. I let her run around but naked. A few minutes later she said "mommy peed, see!" And there it was behind the chair where I was sitting, her pee.

And the other night we were successful. But today we haven't had any success. This after she came to me and said that she want's to go so I took her to the bathroom and sat her on the potty and she was screaming and crying... she wants to have her diaper back. So I ended up putting it back on her. And a couple of minutes later, I can smell the result. Whew! Good thing I didn't let her run around without a diaper.

Hopefully, the next coming days we are going to have more success with potty training. Crossing my fingers!

Blogging with Dragon Software

The other day when I was asking my husband to help me write about an advertiser's site he asked if there is a software that we can use so we don't have to type. And I told him that there is. It is called Dragon Naturally Speaking which allows any user to write without typing. It's a voice simulation software that will make every writer's life easy. And you can see this devilish look on my husband's eye as if he just discovered something.

Today, I found out that they are offering 25% off Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Preferred. "Nuance is allowing us to offer our readers a 25% Discount Coupon CODE Exclusive for Dragon Naturally Speaking, but you must click the image below and use this code (DNSMSBG) Together. Code will not work from other sources." To find out more about this software, check out the video below.

There's also a press release at the bottom of the post. It was written using Dragon Naturally Speaking software.

Get Dragon Naturally Speaking using Discount code DNSMBG

Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Basic with Discount Coupon Code

Press Release:

This is an excerpt from a white paper discussing how bloggers can earn more money through several different monetization and freelance writing services. It shows that bloggers that utilize Dragon Naturally Speaking can earn more money through these various services and how fast these extra earnings will pay for the software itself.

Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Blogger Break Even Analysis with TextBroker.com Earnings

I would like to walk you through several different scenarios to help all of us understand better what our words are worth.
I would like to start first by talking about a company that pays people to write. They pay them to write based on the number of words that are written. The company is called text broker.com and they are out of Germany and relatively new. I’m starting with TextBroker.com because the business model is very simple. The models will get more complex as I go through some of the other popular blog revenue sources.

Text broker.com will pay a person approximately 7/10 of a cent for a single word. They charge their customers approximately 1 penny per word. And they sell this service at increments starting at 100 words and go up from there.
That’s what they do; now let’s see how Dragon Naturally Speaking can pay for itself!
So, I’d really like to talk about how much you can earn from them based on how fast you type.
If you type 35 words per minute, and you typed for 50 minutes straight, you could theoretically type 1750 words.
Now at seven tenths of a penny per word, that work would be $12.25 per hour assuming that you take a ten minute break every hour. If you work four hours a day doing this, that would be forty-nine dollars per day.
If you could type 105 words per minute, that would be 5250 words in a fifty minute period of time. At that rate, you would earn $36.75 per hour assuming the same ten minute breaks every hour.

Obviously you can earn more if you can type faster.
If you could type 150 words per minute, then under this formula you could earn $52.50 per hour. That's almost 5 times more than you can earn if you type thirty-five words per hour.
So in this example there is definitely a value in typing faster!
There is a cost associated with being able to type as fast as well. You could go and take a typing class and learn how to type 150 words per minute. That might take you many months of school, and many years of practice.
It's also possible, that you may never be able to achieve that speed with your fingers.
Alternatively, you could buy Dragon NaturallySpeaking and be able to do it before the night was out. Dragon NaturallySpeaking costs $99 for the basic version and $199 for the preferred version.
As I write this, there are coupon code or discount code offers that you can use to save more money off that price. The coupon codes vary from $25-$50 off the price. Typically a bigger discount is offered for the preferred version, which I use myself.
Now in our example, if you bought Dragon NaturallySpeaking for ninety-nine dollars, and you did not use the coupon code to save twenty-five dollars, you would be able type 150 words per minute, and if you could previously type 35 words per minute, then based on the extra money that you could earn by typing faster, you would be able to pay for Dragon NaturallySpeaking in less than three hours of work using textbroker.com.
It kind of seems like a no-brainer. In many ways, it is a no-brainer with one exception. Not everybody writes for textbroker.com.
If you consider how much additional money you might earn by using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, and consider how much more work you could do by being able to type at 150 words per minute, then you might be able to figure out how long it will take you to pay off the software with your earnings.
I will cover a number of other situations, which will highlight this using other examples where people that typically write a great deal, could benefit from using Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

If you have an example that you would like to share, please let me know, and I will be more than happy to share it with everyone. :-)

I Am The Doers

I was browsing online last night and I can across a site called Typealyzer that analyzes the type of blogger you are through your blog. I got curious so I tried it.

First it will ask you to type the address of your blog. And since this is my main blog, I type the
url of it. Hmmmmm, surprisingly it says,

"Detected language Thai. The only supported languages are English and Swedish. But stay tuned, we are expanding."

Okay, the language being used on this blog is not even closed to Thai. Well, I can't complain the site is in beta.

So i tried using my other blog. This time I type in www.vhielscorner.com and it says I am "The Doer" and here's the description I was given. And it even comes with an analysis of which part of the brain is working when you are a doer.

ESTP - The Doers

The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

Oh and by the way, the result is the same for my other blog, except this one. So what do you all think?

Reminiscing The Days

I was going through some photos today looking for something that I can use for scrapbooking and I saw some photos of me when I was pregnant. And believe, there were not many of them. I don't know but I wasn't feeling all to candid when I was pregnant. I guess because I feel like I was the ugliest pregnant woman. For somebody whose petite and only 95lbs and gain 25-30 lbs in 9 months it really looks scary and until now I am having some hard time loosing the some of the weights.

Some of those photo's I was only wearing shorts and t-shirts or tank top. I didn't really bought any trendy maternity clothes when I was pregnant. I keep saying that I will not use them after I gave birth which is probably true because I have a few pants on my drawer that whenever I see them I just can't believe how big I was. I can probably fit 2 of me now on some of those pants.

I did shop for some tanks that I can use. I was pregnant during summer and believe me it was hot. I got some of the designs of Ingrid and Isabel and they were so comfy. Plus it was very lightweight, just right for the summer season. As a matter of fact I am still using some of it until now. Those are definitely some of the juicy maternity clothes that I have.

So far I found like 4 photos of me when I was pregnant. I guess I better hang on to these 4 photos, these might be only photos I have.

Living Room Makeover

So our Christmas decor is up.. All we need are few more touches and maybe just some trinkets and we are done. And since our holiday decor are up, we decided to redo the look of our living room. Now this makeover is simple and it didn't cost us anything. All we did was move the sofa into a diagonal direction so it doesn't look to monotonous in the setting. And it look great!

Now all we need is a new tv stands to go with the new layout of the living room. I've seen one that I really like but its a little bit more than our budget. Hopefully we'll be able to get one next year.

But, I am not really too worried about that. The reason, I am loving the new look of our living room.

If you want to give any area in your house a simple makeover, but will definitely notice the change, try re-arranging the placement of your furniture. You will be amazed on how a simple arrangement can create a great appeal and impact to the design.

Holiday Preparations

Yesterday, we started decorating our Christmas tree and taking out all our holiday decors. My little girl had a blast helping adding decors on the tree. Now that she is a little bit older she now can appreciate the fun and mess of the holiday.

After we decorated the tree, our living room got a little makeover too. We did a redesigning to give it a new look and feel. I took a couple of photo's of some of the decors on our tree as well. And of course the little one gets to put the star on the tree.

We're getting ready to head out and get some stuff for thanksgiving, we are going to have a small dinner tonight... just me, my husband and our little girl.. remember we already had our pre thanksgiving dinner last Sunday..

Early Thanksgiving Celebration

Everybody seems to be busy this holiday, and that includes my sister.. she is working on thanksgiving day. She is the only family that are close to us, the rest are in the Philippines and in Kentucky, so we had an early thanksgiving dinner with some of her co-worker last Sunday.

We went to their house early so my little girl can play with her cousins before we eat dinner. We head out about 4 pm and as usual Isabella had fun. She was the center of attention because is everybody wants to play with her.

So finally the visitor's aside from us arrive. I was starving. We had some turkey, some pansit (Filipino style noodles), lumpia (Filipino style eggroll), mashed potato, etc..The food was good. My daughter loves the pansit. I think that's all that she ate.

After the dinner we head upstairs and did some karaoke singing.

Now don't ask me if I can sing. Everybody can sing but not everybody is good. I can sing a few songs but that's it. I think my little girl is the one that had a great time. She was dancing all night while we were singing. The funny thing was when my husband was singing, my little girl started telling her dad to stop singing. It was hilarious! And we had a great time.

On the side note, when we were heading out, I've noticed that somebody had bought the house that was beside my sister's. And I guess they were already moving because I saw a couple of moving trucks. I always wanted to live close to my sister so my daughter can have a playmate anytime.. but... oh well, the house is sold.

Hope everybody had a great thanksgiving.

Hand Washing and Brain Tumor

One of my co member over at the new social community that I've created uploaded this video and I find it very interesting that I have to repost it here.

Here's the story..

"Dr. in Arizona taught the woman had brain tumor but it turned out that there is something else inside her brain - a worm.

Rosemary Alvarez the lady that was suspected to have a brain tumor started experiencing numbness in her arm and blurred vision. She went to the emergency room twice and had a cat scan, but everything came up clear.

It wasn't until they did a cat scan on her brain that they discovered something very disturbing...

The Reliable Choice

Like with any car you take care of them and they will last forever, well maybe not forever but they will certainly last longer. I had a friend who had a Volvo and it run and drove great. Mechanically the car was very sound being as old as it was. The technology in today's Volvo has come a long way since my friends car. So I can only imagine that the cars that they make today are some of the best built cars probably in the world. And then there's Saab which is built equally as well as Volvo.

However, no matter how well a car is built you will always need parts because eventually parts will wear out. And when they do, the best place that I have found to order Saab parts is Swedish Parts Network.

I found that they offer free shipping on all parts whether it be an order of $10.00 to $500.00 or more. Also, I compared prices with other websites and have found that they have better prices on their parts. Their selections of parts also seems to be larger than most other websites, ranging from parts for a 1961 to present day vehicles. So if you have a Saab or a Volvo and you need to find parts, even hard to find parts check out their site.

What's Keeping You Busy Lately?

I have been MIB for the past couple of days on this blog. And I feel like I have been missing a lot on the blogging world, but what can I do. I have some other things that I have to do too. First off is of course I finished up some designs for my client and of course the non stuff rant about school, it's always there... and it's always going to be there until I am done with school. It's just my way of trying to unwind and lessen up the burden. And then of course I have a little girly that I have to attend to.

Then I just launched an exclusive online community called Youth Community Service Club (YCSC) which basically geared towards the alumni and current members of this organization. It's an organization all over the Philippines that is under the supervision of Higher Education and I wanted to connect all of the members from all over the country and alumni all over the world. It was launched offical last Sunday and we are growing quite fast. As of the moment we have at least 49 members and growing. To find out more information about this community you can go here. We are hoping that in the next coming months are will continue to grow and be able to help out in molding young ones to become a good leader and be more involved with community service.

But so much for that, today I had a once in a lifetime experience for my Anatomy class. We went to this place called Parker College and we watch, touch and basically smell a cadaver. I'm not sure if I really want to blog about it here but I find it really interesting due to the fact that I have been 5 bodies... that has been dissected for the purpose of science. Yes! I even get to see 4 heart, real heart. One interesting heart that I've seen was from someone who had an issue with his left heart not functioning. And what they did was attached a pump that will serve as the left heart. And this "thing" that was attached to the heart looks like an ordinary pipe, like the pipes that they used in running water. And the head of the Gross Anatomy department said that it was the latest technology that is being used for people that are having heart failure of some sort. I've also learned and saw quite a few things that involves dementia and alzeimers. Do you know that the brain of the person with dementia has little holes in them. They are just tiny little holes. While the brain of a person with alzeimers has a larger grove and it ways half the normal brain. So pretty much what happens is because the brain is shrinking, it forgets all its functions, leading to the death of the person. And I was going to get a business card from the head of the department but totally forgot... the reason is that if there are somebody who wants to donate their body for science, Parker College is one of the places that you can donate it too. For more information about their program you can head out to their website.

So, my afternoon was spent pretty much with dead people.

As for my girly girl... tomorrow will be her first time in a "day care"... yes, we are actually leaving her with somebody we don't know. It's not really a permanent thing but it's just something that we cannot avoid. I have school in the morning and my husband has an interview for work and we cannot find somebody to baby sit her on a one on one basis. My baby sitter is not available in the morning so it was our last option. We found this place called SS Noah and what they do take drop off. That means that if you want to do your errands or go for a date night, unexpected schedule conflict they can take your child and watch them for a couple of hours.

The hourly rate is not too bad... and the place is big enough that they can accomodate a lot of kids. It looks like one of those play areas for kids. And to be able to start dropping off your kids, there is a membership fee that you have to pay. It's probably the reason why the hourly rate is not too bad. If you are only doing it for let's say emergencies then its affordable. But anyway, I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow because Isabella will be there for atleast 4 hours.

She seemed to like it tonight when we were there, but that is because her parents were there. Hopefully, she will be okay and not fuss about it because this is her first time with a stranger.

Virus Infiltrated Friendster Database

Last night as I was checking my Friendster account I noticed that my list of friends doesn't look like my list of friends. And as I checked further, it says that I only have 40 friends on my list from 100 something that I used to have. I also checked my groups but they were not there... Another thing that I've noticed is when I delete the so called friend that I have from my list it is not showing that I actually removed them.

Did my account got hacked?

One of my buddy was online last night and he said that it was down the other day. And they are working on some updates and today I received an e-mail from one of my batch mate in high school and he said that

"Friendster has suffered a great damage on their site as a virus named h4xor-niytmare had infiltrated their database..."

I don't know if it is true or not but I am guessing it might be because of those issues that I had. I also found out from a few friends and some blogger that they are having the same issue.

If you have an account with Friendster, do not log in to your account for the time being to give the people at Friendster to fix the problem.

Recent Updates:

According to Friendster there was a building wide power outage at the data center in California that resulted to the current issue that they are experiencing. And all of the data are intact and should be back within 24 hours... So I guess the virus thing is not true..

Read more FAQ's below specially if you have a friendster account.

Here are some FAQs to help address your concerns:

  • What happened to my friends?
Currently, the number of friends in the friends list is being displayed incorrectly.

  • Are my friends lost permanently?
No. The data for all friend connections is intact and is not lost.

  • When can this be fixed?
Friendster is currently working on this problem and we hope to have this fixed within 24 hours.

  • Can I still add friends while the problem has not yet been fixed?
Yes, users can still add new friends and use other features of the site.

  • What caused this problem?
There was a building-wide power outage at the QTS / Globix data center in Sunnyvale, California, USA where Friendster’s servers are co-located, along with about 50 other customers. As a result, the memory caching of data was affected. Since Friendster has 85 million users, the cache is taking a considerable amount of time to build. Once the cache has been completely built, all friends will re-appear.

I Am Officially A Speeder Now

That's what I call myself now. Last night as I was getting ready to turn to the main highway from school, the school police pulled me over.

What?!!??? Was of course my first reaction. I saw his car on the parking lot but never really paid attention to him. And as I was getting ready to turn, I saw this flashing light and I was like, what the f#$%? What did I do?

So when he got out, he ask me if I knew why he was pulling me over. And I told him, "I have no idea" he said "You were doing 30 on a 20 school zone." Huh! I didn't even know I was driving that speed. Excuse me, in a school parking lot... I was pulled over... Now that I think of it, it was actually ridiculous.

So anyway, he ask for my driver's license and insurance.. yadi yadi yada... and as I was looking for my insurance card... I cannot find it. I know I have it on my wallet. I always put my insurance card on my wallet or a copy of it anyway. It's not anyway inside my wallet. Now I am really panicking... I don't want any ticket.. that's the last thing I want.

I ask him if I can make a phone call coz I can't find my insurance card.. I was going to call my husband and ask him where he put the insurance card.. but he was making this facial expression and he said no.. Well, I don't have my insurance card... And so I guess he kinda figure out that I do have an insurance just don't know where it is..

So he ask me if it was my first time being pulled over.. and yeah it is my first time... I was nervous... And ask me who was my insurance company...

And finally he said... "okay, I am just going to write you a warning tonight since you haven't been pulled over before..." whoah!!! what a relief! He went to his car and do his thing without my insurance card.. but as he was writing whatever it is that he was writing, I kept looking for my insurance card and finally found it. It's in the damn compartment!

When he came back I was giving him my insurance card and he said "don't worry about it, I knew you have an insurance"...

So there goes my first ticket.. as my husband calls it "your first warning.. now you know how it feels to be pull over"

Officially I am calling myself a speeder now... driving 30 m/hr is speeding...lol.. They are pulling me over for driving 30 m/hr but they are not pulling over those people that are driving 80 m/hr.

Yeah right!!!

Acobox: Your Source For Images

As a blogger, I constantly look for companies in the web that can help and make my blogging experience better. If you noticed in my postings I usually add images on it to make it unique and appealing to my reader. However, there are times that I cannot find the right image to associate with my post

In my constant search for sites that offers images, I found Acobox.com. This site will host blog pictures and images for me so I don't have to upload it to my blogger account and use up my bandwidth, nor use other free image hosting to host my images and I still have to do the leg work, like resizing the image, making sure its center or right align. With A Acobox, they will do all these for you. Another good think that you can get from them is the copyright issue. You have to be careful as to where you get the images that you are using because of copy right issue. With them, you don't have to worry about this because they make sure that all the images are properly licensed. And of course the best thing about this is it's free. Yup! No charge at all.

I actually went ahead and register an account with them and tonight I will start using them. I needed some graphics for my blog designs so this is a great find for me.

Final Decisions But More Serious Things Are Coming...

In the previous post here and here... I was seriously thinking of dropping my Anatomy and Physiology class because I was doing poorly on it. It's not failing but I may end up retaking it again so I can get into the nursing program. Yeah, the nursing program on the school I am going to is very competitive and the requirements is a bit high.

But after thinking about it and talking to counselors, I decided to just stick with it and finish it. Yey for me! I don't really want to go through the hassle of applying for my financial aid again and filling for deferment and all those stuff because I decided to bail out on something. If I am not going to get the grade that I want (due to the fact that I don't have a whole lot of time to study and I have been procrastinating.. that's why my grades are low) I can always re take it and the highest grade will be the one that will be counted.. bad grades will be drop.. sort of.. It will still show on my transcript but will not be counted... Hurray! for me again.

So I actually have a few things that are thankful with... My designing business has been busy, I been getting some offer from advertisers for my blog (reviews mostly) and I am still doing good with my statistic class. Although other than me not doing good with this class, we have a major issue here at home... hubby is not working right now so we might end up in the street next month.. (hopefully not!!!) but other than that, we are still good... I don't want to go through that headache that I got the last time I was stress out... that was bad.. so I am taking it easy and just ask for God's guidance and hopefully in the next coming days he will get the job that he had applied for.

Shoes.. shoes.. and more shoes..

We love to shop... everybody knows that when it comes to shopping, women is the expert. Bargain hunting, sale, deals.. whatever the name is we are good at it.

And every women I know is absolutely crazy about shoes as well. Most would probably have at least 5 pairs of every shoes. I have (counting in my head...) at least 12 pairs, including 2 pairs of tennis shoes, sandals, high heels, boots but does not include shoes for formal attire... I used to have more but since I am not using some of them I went head and donated them. Somebody can still use them.

Don't ask me why I have that many pairs... I just buy them whenever I see something that I like. Although now I am pretty much sticking with a tennis and close toe shoes whenever I go to my Anatomy class (laboratories.. strictly imposes close toe shoes) but during my weekend class I usually wear sandals, unless its cooled then its boots.

And tonight, I found some Manolo Blahniks design that I just feel in love with. Yes! I am talking about shoes. If you love shoes, you probably heard of this designer. These shoes are not one of those cheap type, these are designer shoes that I am hoping to get one of these days... (dreaming.. ). Oh well, maybe I'll get them.

Cruise...

Have you been on a cruise? If you ask me,I haven't.. I want to try it but we just can't find the time to do it. Plus it gets a little expensive.

But I've heard that if you plan good enough, you might be able to get a great deal with Disney cruises. Usually they offer low prices if you book it really early. I remember when my sister's family went for a cruise they were gone for a week and they probably spent around $5000.00, more or less. I can pay off my car loan with that money. I guess I am just the type of person who wants to enjoy and have fun at the cheapest possible cost ever. I got used that way because back in college when I was doing community service we have to rely mostly on our abilities and resourcefulness in order to come up with everything.

I found a site called CruiseCheap.com where they offer cruises ranging from $500 for 4 nights. That's a great start already. I may start looking for some deals from this site. My little girl is growing quick and going to Disney cruise will be fun.

Are Your Online Friends As Important As Your Real Friends?

Making new friends can be hard after you move to a new area or after you have kids but blogs and social networks help moms keep in touch and meet new friends online. I remember when I just move in the US, I barely know anybody. And then after I gave birth to my daughter I feel lost and don't know where to start. And online communities has really help a lot. I even found a couple of social network for moms and at the same time for kids that are the same age as my daughter.

Although I still prefer real friends, online friends are almost as important as real friends. And me being so far away from most of my friend, the only communication I have with them is online. So my real friends are actually my online friends as well.

Check out the video below from fellow moms and find out what they think.

Are your online friends as important as your real friends? Share your experiences by posting your comments on this post.

Been Looking For One

Today, I have been contemplating if I want to change my web hosting company for the domain that I have for our business previously. I used to have an online store and I sell kitchen ceramics and movie posters, but since we cannot find the time because of the busy schedule we decided to close it down. However, I still kept the domain name and just transferred it to a new company. And believe me, when I did the transfer it was a headache. So now I am really contemplating if I really want to switch hosting again.

I really want to start using my old domain again but I just cannot find the time to find a good hosting company and searching online is a bit time consuming also. We did have a good hosting back in the days and I did all the PHP coding for the site. I've read on one blog tonight that webhostinggeeks.com is a great place to start my search for they offer a webhosting review and ratings.

This is actually good because now I don't have to search for reviews for every web hosting companies, I just need to visit them and read the reviews that they have. might be able to find a great hosting company for my old domain so I can start using it again.

Old Feelings...

One of my classmate way back... (elementary) sent me a link to an online community exclusively for graduates of batch 1995 (whoah! feeling old) in my alma mater.

It was actually pretty cool because you get to connect with old classmates and friends. For the most part it's also nice specially for people like me who are abroad and was wanting to get some news from old acquaintances.

And part of being able to see and connect with old classmates and schoolmates is finding someone who may have hurt you in the past or perhaps even someone you had a huge crush on.

You probably guess where is this going aren't you? Well, tonight I was browsing around some of my school mates and I saw one particular photo and oppps... my heart skip a little bit.

The reason... he was somebody that I really admired back when I was in high school. It was one of those high school crush that stayed longer no matter what he does. Let's just say that I am not one of those popular kid in school that people will actually know when you say my name. Although I did excel a little bit ( I was actually on the top 3 highest sections... the classes are based on your overall grades.. more like the GPA here in the US and the highest your overall grade is, the highest is your section) when it comes to academic.

But anyway, I was reading some reactions about "who are your high school crushes" and everybody is just letting it out.. Ohh.. the high school days... it was fun and something to be remembered.

Would it be nice to have a movie room?

A couple of years ago when we were looking for a house to buy we started looking for new built. And we found one that my husband really like because it has a huge movie room. We have this huge poster case that he has been wanting to use and the movie room of the house was perfect. With it we can also add a home theater seating to really make it feel like a movie theater. We also have a collection of movie posters that we want to display all over the movie room. But we never did bought the house... that time we just found out that I was pregnant and we talk about me staying home until our child is old enough to go to school or a day care. And if that's the situation we won't be able to afford the monthly payment. Good thing we didn't bought the house because if we did, we might have been in foreclosure now.

Right now we are still wanting a new house that has a movie room. It is still something that we want to purchased here in the next coming years. Hopefully, when we are financially able to. And the home theater seating will be one of the things that we are going to get.

Grueling 3 1/2 hours of test

I had a grueling 3 1/2 hours of test this afternoon. I went inside the testing center around 2:45 and I finished around 6:30. Well, let me take that back.. turn in my test paper because I cannot think anymore on how to answer the problem.

It was diffffffficult! My goodness, but maybe, just maybe if it was open book, I'll be able to work most of the problems. Yes, problems. I took a 3 1/2 hours of test for my statistic class, 25 questions, although it's multiple choice except for 2 questions... but I have to solve each problem to come up with answer. And most of the answer that I am coming up are not on the choices. Yeah! I feel like dumb...

It was easier when I was doing my lab works and homework. By the way, homeworks are done online and when you missed something, I can always ask for another one until I get it and it will give me another score. So pretty much I can make 100 on all the homework. I wish the tests are online too... lol.

I thought it was the hardest test that I had in my whole entire life of being in school. I'm just glad it was over. So now, I just have to wait for the weekend and find one how bad I did. Oh well, atleast our professor let us take it home and correct the wrong ones and he gave us extra points if we answer it correctly the second time. He is not going to give us the total 4 points but he usually give 1 points for each correct one. It's better than not having any score on it.

Found some Ice.com coupon code ..

I was checking my e-mail this afternoon and I found some interesting stuff that I wanted to share. We all know that holiday is coming really fast and some of you may have started buying gifts for your love ones already. I know some people that actually do their shopping as early as November in order to avoid the rush and traffic during the rush holiday shopping. And if you have a lot of siblings that means more gifts that you have to buy. I have 3 older sisters and I really want to get something for each of them but with the economy and how we are standing now financial I don't think I can afford to purchase a gift. However, I found some coupons courtesy of Savings.com. They are offering Ice.com coupon code which is good purchasing jewelry and watches online. An example of the coupon that I found is for 20% off your entire purchase from the store. That's a huge savings. They have another one that is 20% off all designer watches.

I really want to get something nice for this holiday and with this discount coupon I found, I might be able to afford something fancy and elegant.

Coupons are really a great way to save extra, specially with our economy right now. So if you have been wanting to get something elegant and nice for your family member or love one, head out to Savings.com and grab the coupon. And by the way, they are offering more coupons that you can use in just about anything.

Budget Friendly Eyewear

In today's economy allocating your budget is one of the most important decision that you can do. Not just for yourself but also for your family. Although it is not easy to budget, specially if you hardly have any money to budget.. I guess that's that hardest part, you don't have any money to budget.

Good thing that there are still some companies that offer us consumers products that are affordable and will not break our budget. This is specially for people who are wearing eye eyeglasses.

ZenniOptical provides prescription eye glasses at prices we can afford. They also have a wide selection of stylish designs which means that for every person who wears glasses I am sure there is a style for you.

You can even buy one for as low as $8.00. So if you are wearing glasses like my daughter, you definitely need to check out this offer from ZenniOptical.

Which reminds me, we might have to change the little one's frame soon. It is so beat up that she can't hardly wear it. I wonder if they are offering the frames only and if they can customize it. Well, better head out to their site and check it out. I might save more if we go with them rather than getting it from somewhere else.

Shhhhsshhh

“Mommy, its a snake… ” For some reason my daughter got this stuck to her head.. the sound of the snake and everytime I change her diaper or we are playing, she would make this sound. With the following word.. “mommy its a snake”.. I am wondering if she got this from some of the shows that she is watching.

Sometimes I just cannot imagined how much words she is acquiring from the children shows that I let her watch. Last night, we were getting ready to take a bath and as we were heading towards the kitchen sink, she said “bamanos” i don’t know if that’s the right spelling…but still.. I think she got this word from Dora…

I guess I am going to start teaching her some tagalog words. Last night I was telling her the name of some animals in tagalog and she seems to not mind and she can say some of the words really good.

Oh well, she is her right now and wants to play with the laptop so that’s it for now. It just makes me feel icky.. whenever she says it due to the fact that I really hate snake... just hate it.

A must have for my little girly girl...

Fall is here and soon it will be winter and protecting our skin specially the little one needs to be one of our priority. With the different change in weather, specially the cold season, our skin tend to dry faster.

It's a must that we have a moisturizer that will work with this kind of weather. Mustela Hydra-Stick with Cold Cream Nutri-Protective is the one I recommend. Not only that it is light on the skin, it is also not sticky. My daughter is on that stage where she starts complaining on the stuff that you put on her skin and I can't blame her. She doesn't want anything that is too sticky or else she will be crying and complaining that it is itchy.

This moisturizer is one of my latest find. Although I still like the cream that I am using for my little one right now because it is not sticky and it works well with her skin, it tends to get a little pricey.

With Mustela, I can get a .35 oz for about $9.50. It's hypoallergenic which I really like because the skin of my daughter tends to get reddish when I put something different from the one she is used to. So I don't really want to take any chance on that.

Also, if you visit Mustela's website, they have a Parents Corner which contains Tips and Advice and Product Tips. So if you have some questions about this product or just needs some tips and advice for your little cutie, then head out to Mustelausa.com.
