Ahhhh the smell of the new house...

A few days ago I blog about having a new carpet and that I can't wait to have it installed in the house. Well, guess what we have a new carpet.... whohoo! I haven't had the chance to take pictures for we have been busy putting the house together and doing an overhaul (cleaning).

Last Tuesday we had the carpet people and our day started really early. They started the installation at around 9:30 A.M. I can't believe that for such a tiny house we were able to stash a bunch of junks inside the house. So they started with Isabella's bedroom which by the way is looking like a play area now rather than a room. Well, basically it is a play area for her. She is sleeping with us so her room is just a play area. Then the next one was the media room/office/guest room. And then next is the master's bedroom and the last one was the living area. And what a great look. No more pink carpet and smelly carpet.

So after the installation of the carpet we have to put together and re arrange the furniture. We have to do it one room at a time or else we are going to get insane. We started with the living area. There's a not a whole of stuff in the living area so its faster. Plus it will give us an area to were we can take break. And my little girl can play as well while we clean up.

After the living room the next one is my daughter's bedroom. We move the play area that we made on the living room to her bedroom and move her bed on the other side of the wall at the same time I sorted out all her toys and throw all the one that she is not playing with. Well more of like putting it aside and donate it later. The sorting out took forever. Good thing she was sleeping while I was working on her bedroom. Oh I totally forgot about the media room. It was the second room that we work on. There's a lot of big stuff on that room so it was actually faster to work on. Although my husband ends up working on the rest of the room yesterday. We didn't get to clean all the stuff on that room but it was put together.

Then the next one was the master's bedroom. We decided to move our bed to accommodate our daughter. So right now the bed is move all the way to the wall so our little girl is safe. She is the one on the end where the wall is. (We want to avoid the falling part so we move the bed to the wall). It actually feels a little weird but the room feels more roomy.

After we finish the all the room I feel like my back is going to break. It was sore. Oh, after the room, we still have the kitchen to clean. Remove all the debris from the stuff that we put there. By the time we finish it was 10 P.M and we haven't had any dinner.

While waiting for the dinner and my husband to finish outside, I was able to browse online for a little bit and saw information about the best diet pill. Tuesday was a long day for us. Around 11P.M. we were in bed....sore and ready to sleep.

I will post some pictures of the after design as soon as I get a chance. I think you are all going to love it.

hello! we also had the carpets replaced here and feeling the soft new ones was good! it was just a hassle putting the ornaments back! though the guys who were doing it were kind enough to put the aplliances and furnitures back in its place.

it's hard work but worth it!
