I'm talking about your wedding and engagement ring. Does it still fits you? Literally, mine is a little smaller now for my ring finger. When we bought it, it was actually bigger and we had it resize. When we had resize I told my husband that I don't want to small, just in case I gain weight I can still wear it... but the people on the jewelry store insisted to make it tight enough so they said it will not fall out. Well, now I can't even wear it anymore. It still fits but once I put it on, its a headache taking it off. There are times that i't even cutting the circulation of blood on my finger. So now, I am not even wearing it anymore. My wedding and engagement ring are soldered together making it look like one piece. The wedding ring was made to fit the engagement ring...I don't really want to have it resize again to make it a little bigger. I was thinking that instead of spending that money to have it resize might as well save it so I can get an upgrade for my ring. We have that option when we purchase it. We can take the ring back and get a different one and they will take the full amount that we pay for it, apply it to the current one and we just have to pay the remaining balance. I actually like the idea of that upgrade. So for now, I am not wearing any wedding or engagement ring... rather I am wearing the ring that my husband gave me on my birthday. The loose diamonds is purple which is the color of my birthstone.
What I really want to do is to be able to design the ring. Maybe when we renew our vows I can have one of those own design ring...white gold with lots of stones, but I don't want something that is too big for my finger. A woman can dream right?
