So yesterday or should I say this afternoon since it about 2:00 AM was a very productive day. The reason I said that is because I was able to accomplish quite a few things that are on my list that I need to do after school.
You might be thinking, what in the world would I still be doing late at night when my day was pack. Well, I have been wanting to check out some
custom tote bag that I can be use as a giveaway over at the community that I have launch a few months ago. But I just don't have the time to do it. So before I forget again, I went ahead and check out some times tonight...or this morning.
But going back to the things that I need to accomplish... Since the finals was last week and the week before that, I have been busy and stressed out so I didn't have the time and energy to do some general cleaning in the house. But this afternoon, I was able to vacuum the whole house, except for the kitchen. Well, I guess that's not the whole house but most of the house. I've re arrange my daughter's bedroom to make it more open and now it looks like there is more room for her to play. Except after a few hours of cleaning it and re arranging it, she went in there and played with her toys. So now, the little creatures are all over the place again. Oh well, she has a different plan.
And while I was doing that, I went ahead and remove all the curtains and wash them. Only now, the sheer curtain in the living room is all wrinkled. I didn't have time to steam it. Maybe tomorrow, hopefully.
Then, our living area was turn around as well. My husband said that when he got home tonight he was a quite shock to see the new arrangement of the living room. I can't help it. Whenever I get bored with the layout and placement of the furniture, I get this urge to re arrange them. To give it a different look each time. So now that I've re-arrange it, I now remembered that I have been planning of buying a new lampshade. But each time I see one that I like, I always end up putting it back. I always have this "light bulb" in my head that our lampshade is still in good shape, more of like a conscience... not to spend anything.
So, after I've finish re -arranging the bedroom and the living room, vacuuming and dusting... lot's and lots of dusting... it's time to fold laundry. I really want to mention this one because I can't get over the fact that my daughter who is 2 1/2 years old wanted more wash rug that she can fold. I thought her how to fold wash rug a couple of times so whenever I fold towels she gets to fold the small ones. And tonight I ran out of small ones for her to fold. And after the fact that she finishes all of the small ones, she was still asking for more. I wish she can do the big ones so I don't have to fold them. Kids! You just have to love them.
