This afternoon me and my daughter went to Target to shop around and look for a mosquito net canopy. I have been planning of going to Ikea to find her one but I have been too lazy to drive that far. Actually, anywhere we go the drive is far and I have been too busy reading books and updating websites and network... I just don't have time to shop around. But there comes a time that a woman has to unwind... this afternoon was the perfect timing.
I have been wanting to find a mosquito net canopy for my daughters bed. I told her that we are going to put the canopy in her bed. This week we made a great change... my husband has been complaining about his back been hurting... well one of the reason is that we don't have enough room in our bed anymore. Since my daughter was a baby, she has been co-sleeping with us... but this week, we finally made the change. My little girl is now sleeping in her bedroom. I thought the switch was going to be difficult but I guess I expected to much... the potty training is a bit more difficult than the switch.
She still wakes up from time to time and she will tell me that she wants to sleep in our room... but we still end up going back to her bed. I guess she is getting used to sleeping there since she's been sleeping in her bed for a couple of days now.
But back to our little shopping this afternoon... I get sidetrack whenever I try to tell a story... too many things floating in my mind.
So we were over at Target and did our shopping, we got to the shoes area. And of course

nowadays I usually go to the children's area and I can't believe that when we got to the shoes section my daughter was so excited and started trying the shoes. I was in awe watching her pick the different shoes that she wants to try on. I didn't even have to ask her to remove her sandals... she sat down and remove it herself. And I found this pretty
Dansko design that's really comfortable. She can use it as an everyday shoes. It's amazing how little girls are starting to show love for shoes.
After trying different shoes, of course it was my turn. :) I tried a couple of sandals... love sandals.. and of course the heels has to be really... lets just say that it has to make me taller when I wear it. There were also some designs that are similar to the dansko design that we saw by the children's area... but as usual, my child gets to have something first before myself.
Oh well, I guess I am just a mom.
