So everybody in the family (me, husband and daughter) had been sick for more than a week now. It started with me and then my husband and daughter all got the cold and flu as well. And then my daughter had the pink eye and thank goodness today was the last day for the drop. And my coughing is almost gone. My voice is almost back to normal now.

Mine was a little bit worse because I had some upper respiratory infection and I have to take some antibiotic. And it took me a while to get to the doctor since me and husband don't have any insurance. We just can't afford it. If we pay for insurance we might end up in the street with no house to live on. Right now it's just my daughter that, since we don't want to risk it not having an insurance for her. But after I went to places such as primacare and careone to check how much it would cost to see a doctor, I told my husband that it might be time to check out Blue Cross health insurance. Good thing our primary doctor is not charging that much for a visit for cash patience.

It's just hard to imagine that those other places I've mentioned are charging way more. I thought they charge a little bit cheaper since they are advertising on TV how they care and they can get you in for little cost.

Oh, well... I guess that's how they get most of their patience.

While I was browsing their website, I found this really cool wall photos that I can use to display photo's in our bedroom and also the organizer/cooler. I actually saw the organizer for men's gift but I think it will really work great for me since I practically live in my truck with all of the books and supplies I carry for school. So instead of using a basket/ to put all my supplies I can just use the organizer. There's also a video on how you can use the photo wall and it's really neat to use to showcase those photos that you been waiting for to add frame with.

Today, while I was trying to do culture presentation I browse a few ingredients on how to cook certain food. It amazes me how people can just whip up and turns out really delicious.

I have been wanting to cook some soup using most of the ingredients but it always ends up not having most of the ingredients. Finally, today I was able to get all of the ingredients that I need to cook some soup. Although I didn't find the particular banana that I need and saw some seeds flaxseed. Now I don't really have any idea of where can I use.

So I did a little digging and I was able to get the benefits of flaxseed. Flaxseed oil is found naturally in fish and nuts. As mentioned nuts are also a great source of flaxseed oil but the problem with nuts is that they also come with a healthy dose of carbs and protein. For those of us who won't be able to wake up early -really early to start lining up in order to get the best deal for Black Friday, no need to worry, Cyber Monday is here. Healthcare Job Listings

Now that my first semester in nursing school is almost over, I am starting to look around and check out some healthcare job listings. It's never too early to start looking since time nowadays seems to be flying so fast.

The only that I have now is the qualifications. Most of the listing I am finding wants somebody who has at least 1 year experience and for us new nurses, it's just impossible to compete. The only experience that we can present is our clinical.

I guess in any areas it's pretty much the same...for those who are newly graduates. Pretty much you have to make sure that during clinical you actually learn how to do the skills that you were taught to do. And just put yourself out there and be brave enough to face all competitions. Hopefully, having another degree in the computer industry will give me an edge since most of the hospitals and facilities now are being modernized and moving most into this technology.
