One of the scenic places to take a nice and relaxing vacation for your family can be found in the Outer Banks of North Carolina; Ducks, North Carolina.

The Town of Duck is an incorporated town located in Dare County, North Carolina along the Northern Outer Banks. Originally part of Currituck County to the north, the stretch of the Outer Banks which includes Duck was transferred to Dare County in the early 20th century. The region was named for the many ducks and waterfowl in the area.

Duck vacation rentals are very affordable and visitors can enjoy different outdoor activities and water sport; swimming, surfing, fishing, jet skiing, parasailing and kayaking. Tourists are attracted to the spacious and clean beaches.

The place also offers restaurants and small shops with dining options; ranging from a la carte to formal. This place offers a unique coastal village with something for everyone to enjoy.

Nuphedra is the new Ephedra

I was trying to look for some latest article as to what happen to the ephedra diet pills. I've read that this diet pill was effective in producing weight loss but taking the pills can lead to adverse effects.

This product has been remove in the market due to the adverse effects but there's still people that are looking for it.

Nuphedra is said to be the new Ephedra. This product has been reformulated in order to be compliant with the FDA Policy and is undergoing testing.

This new product is striving to formulate the good positive effect such as boosting the stamina, giving the client mental alertness and overall energy.

Diet is the new Fab

Last week some of my classmates (ssshhhhh) are talking about taking some weight lose pills. And one of them said "your in nursing school and you want to start taking one?" All I can do was smile because she was right. With all of the things that we are doing, you can't really start something that might jeopardize your health.

I guess she was referring more to the side effects that some diet pills have, like an unusual going to the bathroom. And if you are in our class and you have to the potty break, you can't get in until the next break. So if for some reason you want to go outside and the professor decided not to give us a break until the end of the class, then you can't come back in. I think its reasonable since there's almost 80 student in one class and if everybody just started going and coming back in, its to annoying and definitely disturbing.

You definitely don't want to miss a lot of the information.

Maybe I should refer them to my website so they can check out the some of the best diet pill review online. But I bet they've done their research on the one they are taking already. It would be unwise for them not to do their research before starting on one...they are going to be future nurses.

What is the new must have gadgets?

Tablet PC is the new must have electronic. It’s no secret that big brands like Samsung, Google, Dell, and Sony have had their own versions of the tablet PC in the works.

I told my husband that I want one for Christmas. However, if I can't download my books for school and read it from there, then never mind. He can just get me a new camera. I got the camera.

But, it doesn't mean that I don't want to have one, because I do. I think its a great innovations. I love new trying out the latest gadget, although most of the time we can't really afford it. It's so expensive...for us anyway.

But back to the sleek Galaxy Tablet PC. I've heard that it stand to be one of the most streamlined and user friendly tablet on the market. It's about the size of the Amazon Kindle, it comes equipped with Android version 2.2, as well as front and rear camera plus a 1024×600 LCD touchscreen.

Here's some of the pros when it comes to performance.

The Galaxy’s 1 GHz ARM Cortex processor and 512 MB of RAM allow it to handle multiple applications with ease—the biggest departure from the one-app-at-a-time iPad experience. You don't have to wait longer for websites to load before switching over to a chat window or a game of Angry Birds. Web users can also access Flash content on sites that support mobile access, like Hulu.com.

Some of the cons with this gadget:

Applications still remain a big question. Google Apps Marketplace is a bit slow when it comes to releasing friendly version of software that can maximize Galaxy's viewing space and power.

Do you own any of the tablet pc on the market? How do you like them so far? If you want to share your experience and reviews about it, feel free to leave your comment.

Looking for a tent?

I haven't been on a real camping where you put up your tent and do all sort of camping stuff. But back in the days when I was still in college, the first time, I do so much community work that most of the places that we stays with feels like we are always in a camp. I usually bring camping gear since our sleeping quarters are not so much like a hotel but rather more of like a camping ground. I know its totally different but that's how I feel.

Anyways, those time are wonderful but it should have been much better if I have one of those Big Agnes tents where you can fit more people and a little bit comfy.

Now that I've mentioned camping I told my husband that we ought to take our daughter and do some outdoor stuff with her. Camping might be one something that we can try, I'm just scared of all of the insect bites since me and my daughter are so prone to it. But I guess with the right equipment and stuff we should be good right?

I checked out the specs of this Agnes tent and here's the info:

It can fit 4 person plus their gear. It also features an optional extra large accessory vestibule for more storage or a shady sitting room. Lightweight 7000 series aluminum poles with press fit connectors. Color coded webbing and buckles make set up easy. Fly is durable polyester rip-stop with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating. Floor is durable with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating. Tent body is lightweight polyester mesh and durable polyester rip-stop. Tent body doors are polyester with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating. Sleeves and plastic clips attach the tent body to the pole frame for quick and easy set up. Reflective guyline for nighttime visibility. Two large doors. Welcome mat on front door provides space for muddy shoes. Large skylight, twelve mesh floor pockets.

For complete details and to see other tent design, I added the link above.

So Need A Vacation

One of the things that I missed these days is taking a long vacation. There's no time. I go to school Monday - Friday and on times that I am not in school, I have to work and when I am not at work, I spend some time with my daughter and do some housework. Now if I still have some time then I have to hit the book and the readings, otherwise I am not going to make it to nursing school.

I am totally envious of those people who can just take off some time and go for a vacation. I used to be able to do it but these days the farthest I can go is the school and grocery store.

So now I am definitely looking forward to finishing nursing school then start looking for work and then maybe save up and have a vacation, away from Texas. I saw some great deal from Branson vacations the other day and I think it's something that we can check out. What I really want though is lounge on the beach or maybe some nature tripping. I'm so done with the city that I want to change atmosphere.

The next time you drop by my blog, hopefully this is the one I am doing.

Jan 9, 2011: {First Snow of the year }

It looks so pretty with the first real snow of the year. Check out some of the photo's I've taken. I hope it stays until tomorrow or better yet more snow until tomorrow. Love, love how it looks outside.

Don't forget to hare your photos/links too if you have any. I'd love to see them. By the way, the date on my camera for some reason is not current (I think it may have been due to the battery changes) so ignore that. I just took those photo's today. Enjoy snuggling with your family and have fun!

Is it time to change or keep the old one?

This is officially my first post for 2011. Wow! 2010 has passed but it still feels the same. I am just thankful that we have survived another year and hoping for 2011 to be filled with blessings and love from family and friends. I hope 2011 will be a year of exploration, meeting new people and keeping the ones that truly cares.

So back to reality...is it time to change or keep the old one? This question is about home decors, designs, fixtures and anything about the things that you have at home. Since it is the new year, do you usually update the things in your house or yard?

Personally, if you can afford it and its in the plan to update fixtures such as lights and decors in your house, I'd say go for it. The first month of the year is an ideal one since you are starting the new year. It's in with the new and out with the old. Plus it gives you the feeling of newness, a new start.

I found this gorgeous light and I think will really look good in the front of our house. I have been wanting to redo the flower bed in the front anyway, I just can't figure out, well actually more of I can't decide if I want to remove the old plants and start with a fresh one. But with this light beside the fountain, it will give me more inspiration to actually tackle and go for it.
