We usually only watch it at night while we're winding down. The kids are in bed and the tv is ours! Especially at night when I'm tired and I don't want to lay on the couch or in the winter when I'm stuck in the house and my husband is watching Football. Plus, it's nice when we want to watch a movie on the big LR Tv and our little guy can go in our room to watch a show. My only recommendation if you're going with HD is that you do LCD.
